If you are curious about meditation, looking to begin meditating, but are not quite sure where or how to begin, or feel like your mind seem to get busier when you try to meditate, then this workshop will offer you some much needed help.
According to the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH), Meditation is a mind and body practice that has a long history of use for increasing calmness and physical relaxation, improving psychological balance, coping with illness, and enhancing overall health and well-being. Some recent research also suggests meditation can physically change the brain and help promote healthy behaviors.
In this meditation workshop, Brooke Margherone will teach you simple meditation techniques to help you dive into the present moment which is the only place where life truly occurs and where meditation becomes an accessible state. No prior experience is needed, but a sense of humor and willingness to learn will help you go far.
