Yoga for Beginners 3-Part Workshop with Sara


Saturdays 12:00-1:15pm January 8th, 15th, and 22nd.

$25 per workshop

Join Sara to lay a strong foundation for your practice. Through this workshop series, Sara will pull from the traditional postures of the Primary Series of Ashtanga Yoga. No prior experience is needed.

Week One-January 8th: Philosophy, Lineage, Breath, and Sun Salutations.
Week Two- January 15th: “Vinyasa” or placing with intention; Postures guided by breath.
Week Three- January 22nd: Finishing Postures, Resolution, and Relaxation.

This workshop is meant to introduce all 8 limbs of the Ashtanga Yoga philosophy, teach students how to practice postures and breathing techniques, and help create a sustainable practice for longevity. These foundations and a consistent practice are the keys to finding your own inner peace.

After, or even simultaneously with the workshop, we encourage you to attend and continue developing your Yoga experience by attending regular classes. Sara teaches our Basics Class on Saturday mornings at 8:15am which can serve as a perfect compliment to the workshop and help to transition students to all other classes.
